Twyford Parish Council owns and maintains two Recreation Grounds, Stanlake Meadow and King George V Recreation Ground, each equipped with a range of recreation facilities.

It provides allotments in Hurst Road and the London Road, attractive focal points in the village centre Jubilee Gardens and Polehampon close, as well as public notice boards, strategically-placed defibrillators and the street lighting in most village side roads.
